Americans should be wary of their European Allies
The Morning Call (Allentown, PA)/mcall.com ^ | April 30, 2004 | Linda McDonald

I was working at a UK newspaper based in Edinburgh on Sept. 11, 2001. I was standing in the newsroom watching the TV when the second plane hit the World Trade Center. "Oh my God!" I said aloud, almost in sync with the TV reporter. The TV was tuned to Sky News, a satellite news channel, and everyone in the newsroom was staring at the screen. I heard news of the other two planes crashing and watched the Towers implode. I started to cry....

In the days following Sept. 11 and during the war in Afghanistan, I witnessed an unleashing of anti-U.S. sentiment that was shocking in its callousness....

There was not a complete void of sympathy. Many...columnists wrote moving tributes to those killed and about America. America's embassies were overflowing with flowers and messages of condolence. But resentment toward America simmered underneath it all....

The Euro-elites really don't seem to like us very much, and really, why should they? We're a nation founded and comprised of people who couldn't stand it "over there". And why should we care what they think about anything? The fact that their rampant self-hatred and indolence spills over into their feelings towards Americans should surprise no one and disturb no one.

A Traficant speech from the days when Europe "loved" us.

EUROPE AND THE UNITED STATES
October 7, 1997
Mr. Speaker, France has cut a $2 billion natural gas deal with Iran, that is right, Iran. And the 15 European nations told Uncle Sam to butt out, `It is not your business, Uncle Sam.' Unbelievable. Was it Uncle Sam's business when hundreds of thousands of Americans died to liberate France and Europe from Nazi rule? Is it Uncle Sam's business to protect Europe with NATO dollars? Is Bosnia our business?

Unbelievable, folks. Iran gets $2 billion from France, Iran buys missiles from China and Russia. Iran points missiles at Uncle Sam. Beam me up. France and Europe are a bunch of asset kissers. We are financing it. I say it is time to send Europe a big fat bill. Maybe then they will appreciate freedom and Uncle Sam.

The Europeans average citizen are much more pro American
than the MSM will ever tell you (and way more anti Muslim too)
But as far as the Euro " elites " are concerned you can consider them part of the enemy

you might enjoy these, Traficant was allways entertaining. Yet strangely relevent lately. His comments regaurding the sudden lock out of any chinagate scandal seems rather relevent these days.

Time to take out the Euro-trash. Eurabia can kiss our rosy red keister, before it goes back to practicing dhimmitude, as exemplified by the recent Spanish election.

These people, whose ancestors devoted five centuries to driving out the Moors, are inviting their vicious descendants back with open arms by rolling over in response to the train bombings. They should beware of the incentives they give - - -whatever you reward, expect to get a whole lot more of it.

Meanwhile, the French, whose ancestors kicked Moorish keister at Tours, should expect a few "big bangs" in their future too.

My grandmother who was a British citizen died a few months ago and so any ties with Europe that I may have had, are now cut!

I got the same condescending attitude towards Texas when I visited family from California. I have lived in both Texas and California as well as many other places, and while California is a nice place to visit, I am glad that I live in Texas.

My wife is from Holland and we are going over there this summer to help her parents celebrate their 50-year wedding anniversary. I am not looking forward to spending any of my American money anywhere in Europe. My daughter and I will be stopping by in Ireland for a few days on the way back. I guess Ireland is not too bad in the anti-American department.

When the Euro-elites keep losing their best and brightest to the U.S., what do you expect?
