And one more thing if I may.

Why would the military, or government risk so much, when it would be far easier and cheaper to buy some grateful rancher's cattle and take them back to a lab for a PROPER investigation, under rigid scientific controls, than to RISK getting caught (lot's of cameras and video equipmewnt out there) or even spend enormous amounts of money on pay, fuel, and equipment to fly in at night, cut up an animal, then get out of dodge before getting caught? It simply defies logic.

I do think something wierd was going on. I remember how frightening the events of the 1970s were. I worked with a Lt. Colonel who did go and do some at the sight investigations, and the stories he told would make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. He thought it was UFOs. I don't know what it was, but do believe it happened. But the USA wasn't doing it.

I don't know the degree of military involvement.

I don't know the degree of 'military' involvement with ET's playing the role of military for whatever purposes.

I don't know the degree of very black ops authentic military involvement but that's under the control of the globalist puppet masters etc.

And then there are possible combinations as some collections of puzzle pieces would indicate.

It may be that there's government involvement as a kind of agreement with one of the ET races. Or a super black ops section of the shadow government etc.

As to the logic, I believe the ET's have begun it and are in charge of it. The government may be complicit or playing catchup or trying vainly to monitor or keep quiet or some combination.

But I think the ET's have their own reasons for doing it. Some would claim it is environmental/health/biosphere monitoring.

Some say it's for their food slurry.

I don't think that conventional logic fits or works well when there's so many multidimensional levels of so many dimensions and convolutions of fact, disinformation and what not involved.

Right. I think the military has better things to do that run around at night killing the livestock of hard working tax payers. Still the mutilations are a mystery and I don't think it is predation.
