I wouldn't imagine that such craft would be stationed in such an open base.

I would imagine they might be there very short term or for refueling or some such.

I can't imagine that you guarded the base 24/7.

Cute. Yeah, I guarded the base 24/7/365, and flight ops let me know even if a sparrow came in. Seriously, I just don't believe it. Often these stories are just plain made up, embellished, or the writer naively believes what some lunatic has told them.

My first duty station was in Colorado in the 1970s. At that time, Colorado, and for that matter, the rest of the country, was having its biggest wave ever (and still to this day) of cattle mutilations. I worked NORAD ops, and we repeatedly got calls to verify helicopters, planes, UFO's or other things over the entire West. We just didn't have that data. Note: Not lied, wouldn't provide, was ordered not to, etc--just didn't have any radar tracks, flight plans, etc, about it.

I am as mystified over these strange animal (ain't just cattle) mutilations as anyone, but the military is NOT involved. Shoot, I'm for the government doing a high level investigation. But think of the money, manpower, equipment, and above all tens of thousands of GI's sworn to secrecy in order to believe the military is on on it, is just plain not logical.

Anyway, the TRUTH is out there and all. It just ain't the military's problem.
