I detect Brit's fingerprints on this...he has a wicked sense of humor.
It's so refreshing to reflect on how conservatives have turned the tables on the MediaCrats. We saw a little of it in the Bush 2000 campaign. My favorite: the event where Dubya entered the arena as they blared "Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow". Freepers were freakin' out...why are they playing THAT?! Then we heard the needle scratch all the way across the disk and it was replaced with "Won't Get Fooled Again" by The Who. The crowd (and the Freeprs) went wild!
It was really notable in the Florida recount. "Sore/Loserman", "Get out of Cheney's house"...both made national news. I was down in Florida and I witnessed reporters coming over to our side just to read our signs and hear the chants. They were cracking up and I have no doubt the humor ameliorated the negative coverage we'd come to expect.
I find it remarkable the libs haven't picked up on it. Their lame attempts to put forward people like Franken and Garoffolo are just pitiful. They fail to comprehend that our humor is spontaneous (thanks Freepers!). Go read a liberal website and humor is the last thing you'll find. They just don't get it.

Your point about humor reminds me of why I don't like Fox News Sunday as much as I did with Tony Snow. I miss his humor and the twinkle in his eyes. I used to get such a chuckle from his music choices.

Go read a liberal website and humor is the last thing you'll find. They just don't get it. Good point--that is very true. The lack of humor on the Demo/Socialist websites is reveals much about their personalities.

If FOX News wanted to play hardball with the big boys, they would have been more aggressive following the CNN disclosures regarding covering up for years for Hussein. It would have been easy as pie for FOX to have run commercials stating CNN: The Most
Distrusted Name in the News.
FOX declined the opportunity for hardball.

They fail to comprehend that our humor is spontaneous (thanks Freepers!). The dark side thrives on malcontent. That they are dour and hateful plays right into our hand, as we can lampoon their foolishness with humor, which drives them apoplectic and ever more strident. Look at the Democrat Party. It has been completely commandeered by the far Left hatemongers. IMO, they are doomed.

Heck, I still crack up watching old recordings of his TV show (yes, I VCR'd many of them), especially Ted Kennedy's mumble speech introducing Clinton at a 1996 rally.
