I know many good Christians who have post-graduate degrees in hard science. Amazingly, many of them have birthdates somewhat later than the 17th century.

You imply that the Bible was not the "inspired word of God" (A), and yet we should ask the very God who said His Word WAS inspired and IS complete truth, how the world was formed (B).
