Need we speak of Columbus naysayers who would trade the greatness of today for yesterday's smaller world?

There have been far too many threads posted here with the liberal media's point of view for my liking. Last weekend it seemed like one right after the other, trumpeting US surrender in Fallujah. I didn't believe that then, and I don't now.
