Political activitism, sodomy, and vacations - all rolled into one. Only in America. I wish some vendor / owner / board of directors somewhere (anywhere?) would choose to shut down before submitting to the queers. I also have a fantasy about buying CBS and then turning it off.

It's standard trademark infringement ... ask anyone who's business was ever referred to as AAA ... Did you know that you can trademark letters much more easily then numbers. That is why the Pentium chip is not called the "586 Processor".

Hate to say it but I could see this one coming a mile away...Dolly has seemingly embraced the gays of late...Yes. And she supports gay marriage.

''We just want to go to the park and just have a fun day to be had by all.'' I can do that without posting anything to a Web site.
Part of the sickness of homosexuals, I guess, is that it has to be a sexually oriented event before they can have fun.
Shalom.

''People feel like there's a lot of hatred against the (gay and lesbian) community in Tennessee.'' Maybe for once, their "feeeeeelings" are right. I've about had it with this in your face queer crap. Tolerance is one thing, acceptance is another.

.for instance the Country Music Flameworthy Awards where she invited one of the "Fab 5" on stage and teased around with him/her/it. That was Sumner Redstone's invisible hand at work again as usual further denigrating our culture to fatten his coffers. Vicacom always pushes other networks into CMT to try to broaden the markets and end up diluting the core. Redstone is enemy number one in the culture war. I will celebrate his demise.

Hooray for Dollywood and, I suppose Dolly herself. It is always encouraging to hear of people not kowtowing to the "gay" agenda promoters and performers.

Bummer. So I guess it's just a trademark violation, not a statement indicating support of morality.

"We just want to go to the park and just have a fun day to be had by all." And what exactly does that have to do with sexual orientation? Go...have a fun day but keep your clothes on, your pants zipped and your hands out of your "special friend's" pockets and your tongues out of their mouthes. Then EVERYONE can go to the park and have a fun day...not just the fags.

I'd shut the park down for maintenance on "Gay Day". Sadly, that will not happen here at Disney, Universal, Sea World during Barf Days in Central FL, the first week of June.

Maybe Dolly Parton should put out a can of whoop ass on gays like she did to Dabney Coleman in "9 to 5."
To: Brian Mosely
People feel like there's a lot of hatred against the (gay and lesbian) community in Tennessee. I don't think hatred is right. A health dose of ickyness, sure.

Dollywood should close the park for the day on May 22. Maybe there's a better idea. Maybe we should FReep the place - all wearing T-shirts that read:
Sexual orientation is for the bedroom, not for the amusment park.
Shalom.

I agree with you. I will send them notification that our entire group of regular attendees will avoid Dollywood this year under the present circumstances. We usually take a group of 40 or 50 twice a year. Not this year, maybe never again.
To: TommyDale
Before you boycott Dollywood permanently, put some pressure on Dollywood to shut down on that day or you WILL permanently boycott them.

What? Does this mean straight people go to Dollywood?
To: Brian Mosely
Many FReepers wondered why Disney didn't go after them for co-opting the Disney logo for Gay Days. Now we know.
