Where have you previously done your research?
I have a lot of medical professionals (not your status quo types I might add) in my different spheres and would be happy to point you to the most, IMO, efficacious and unfiltered information you could care to study.
Knowing where you are at in your process of serious due diligence would help me to reduce the amount of information you have to sift through. And there's a significant amount of it out there, it's just getting past everyone's agendas that have nothing to do with helping pipple.

I would say that 15 years as a pediatric RN and 3+ years working in a psychiatric hospital prior to my RN have given me enough experience and knowledge to comment on ADD/ADHD. In addition to my professional experience and knowledge, I also "have a lot of medical professionals in my different spheres" (including working with a Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician-specialist in autism). If you see my previous post on this thread, I did state that ADD/ADHD is definitely over diagnosed, but I also believe there are children and adults that can legitimately be diagnosed with it. There are physicians out there that will take the word of the parent/teacher that the child is hyperactive, and place the child on meds (that's bad), and there are other's that take a thorough history and observe the child over the course of several visits, to make the diagnosis (better).
