""I've stopped listening to Rush. I can't imagine a group he hasn't ridiculed at some point."
Sounds like FreeRepublic, doesn't it.

Well, no. There is a small group here that tends to make fun of people with illnesses or handicaps. Some are in this thread. They're best ignored, I say.

Rush is another matter. I can listen to him or I can not listen to him. These days, I do not listen. I'm weary of the man and his false sense of self-importance. He just ain't that bright, overall.

He reminds me of all the blowhards I've ever met. They talk about what they do not understand as if they are experts.

The mere fact that he appears to be conservative is not enough for me. I do something else while he's on the air.

How about when he's not on the air?

Amen to that. I stopped listening to Rush about four years ago because his ego got do large that it drowned out anything he was saying. Plus, he takes about thirty-five minutes to say/explain something that could have been fully covered in about seven minutes. Often, his show just seems like an attempt to fill space.

What do you like to listen to?

What we're sick of is everyone coming up with some syndrome or another to explain why they are the way they are, and then demand some federal subsidy for their "disability". We've got millions of perfectly healthy kids running around these days, doped up on drugs given to them by leftist shrinks. They are told from an early age that they'll never amount to anything because they're disabled, but this pill will make them feel better.

Enough.
