If Arafat were anything other than a total liability to the Palestinian "cause", the Israelis would have killed him a long time ago. The fact that he's allowed to keep breathing and talking is all the proof needed of his irrelevance.

Arafat is toast, two years ago it would have been tens of thousands.
Isaiah 14:29 says it all about Arafat. When Arafat is killed, the fuse is lit on Isaiah 14-19.
