Was this a regular Wal-Mart or one of those Super Wal-Marts? There's a lot of stuff to buy in a Super Wal-Mart, and they're so huge if you think of something else you need, you have to walk half a mile to get to it.
I could easily see myself shopping there for 13 hours.

"This is as strange and as bizarre a case as I've seen,"
Hmmm...it's pretty strange.....this keeping dead family member's bodies around is getting popular.

I heard about a guy who died in Northern California (Redding area) and his family drove his body down to the San Juaquin Valley for burial. They stopped off for an overnight stay in one of the major cities in the Valley, with the body in the back of the car.

Another example that proves WalMart shoppers are strange, at least, if not totally deranged. Anyone who would shop there after seeing their inane ads with the 'smiley face' character shows a complete lack of taste and pride.

This story gives me a different perspective about the practice of "dead heading".

"the daughter can be held up to 72 hours"
This is the saddest thing about the whole situation. The daughter, who is obviously mentally incompetent, will be released into the general public in three days. She has no where to go and is far from her previous home, where she may or may not have help avaialble. She will probably become a street person and will live in danger of disease, starvation, and attack by criminals.
Why, oh why, were the facilities that used to care for these people closed and the people turned out on the streets???

That's what happens when the states let all the mentally ill people out of the in-patient hospitals, thinking they would trot off to the "outpatient day centers" and just obediently take their meds. Doesn't work like that...

Maybe they liked to watch 'Midnight Cowboy' together?

Mom: That's it. No more Sixth Sense movies for you.
