That's a bit optimistic. The White House has been swayed by terror symps such as Khaled Saffuri and other proteges of Grover Norquist, such as Suhail Khan and Ali Tulbah, not to mention the State Department and assorted Clinton holdovers.

In September of 2001, just following the worst terrorist attack ever suffered in modern history, CAIR placed on its website, under a picture of the World Trade Center in flames, a plea for donations. It read, “Donate to the NY/DC Emergency Relief Fund.”

Yet, when people clicked on the link, it did not take them to any NY/DC Emergency Relief Fund. No, it took them straight to the website of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, an Islamic ‘charity’ that was soon to be shut down by the United States for “raising millions of dollars annually for HAMAS.”

Despicable. I hope these people burn in hell.

I'm still steaming from listening to a CAIR spokes-lady on The Laura Ingraham
Show on (IIRC) this last Wednesday.

The spokes-lady did a protracted hmm-'n-hawing to explain why CAIR couldn't
get their two-paragraph "condemnation" of the Beslan school massacre onto
their website until the Labor Day weekend was over.

My cynical side said that they finally heard about the existence of a video of the
Islamic festivities that took place inside the school and also about Colin Powell's
mentioning how awful it was.

I just wish that CAIR would appear on radio and TV more often.
They are really good negative advertizing for the terrorist elements of Islam.
While I suspect they are beloved by Islamic terrorists and their sympathizers,
their slips-of-the-tongue in admitting they want the USA under Shari'a is
the best antidote for any of our politicians who try to be apologists for them.

Nice to see the First Amendment's "give 'em enough rope" function at work.
I just hope that CAIR and their fellow-travelers are keeping good records like
their spiritual fathers, The Nazis.
