Certainly you can have one, just don't let our "pro second amendment" AG Ashcroft find out, or he'll try to throw you in the gulag. Just because they can shoot long range, doesn't mean you have to! A few practice shots at the local range, in case the gun grabbers show up, might be a good idea. They sometimes forget what happened at Lexington and Concord. You may have to remind them.
