If you go back to the weeks before the war, Husseins rhetoric that America will be sucked into hell was laughed at.

I submit to you that Hussein sacrificed his entire army just to suck America into what we have today. Think about it. The Iraqi military was made up not of Saddam loyalists but of soldiers that he just as soon would have taken out and shot if they chose not to fight.

He knew he could not beat the American military, just as Baghdad Bob knew. But every day, Bob was there making fun of us and telling us we will be beaten. Each day we laughed at his antics.
