What was planned? That the Iraqi army would get its @ass kicked in record time? That Saddam's sons would be killed? That Saddam would be found in a filthy hole in the ground? That after all that, a rag-tag militia would try to hold out a few days in a one-mosque town for....victory?

Saddam didn't do much planning for this war because he never thought it would happen.

He relied on the Russians ,Germans and French to tie us up in he UN.

Plenty of people got bribes to look after his interests so he seemed safe.

I don't thing for a minute he thought Bush would pull the trigger on him.
