It seems like the Dems always focus more on domestic policy. Years ago (20-30), someone told me that the Dems get the US into wars and the Republicans have to get the US out of them. I've never researched it so I don't have a clue if that's true. What is it about Dems that makes them so inept on the international scene? I sometimes think that the "impeached one" was playing with the big dogs internationally and got so played he didn't see it coming. Look at Jimmy Carter. He bounces around internationally but its always to the detriment of the US. Kerry has his anonymous international "friends." Does he really, or are there really "friends" out there who see another dupe ready to be played and are hedging their bets on him winning? (ack..ptoui...)

That old saw,about Dems getting the USA into wars and the GOPers having to get us out,is only partially true.What IS very true,is that by and large,Dems have done/do a terrible job with foreign policy.

Wilson was an utter disaster,FDR allowed Stalin to gobble up Eastern Europe,the WHO LOST CHINA can be placed squarely at Truman's feet,JFK and LBJ were monstrously dreadful,Carter was and still is ruinous,and Clinton,well,we all know what his ineptitude and corruptness wrought.Kerry? His "friends" are a figment of his own delusions and he would be an abomination,as president!
