The $60 million was money well spent. Don't you think it's very likely that after suffering through months of the most withering media assault in living memory, Bush would be down by ten or fifteen points if he hadn't been advertising like crazy?
The 60 million only bought Bush two to three points in the polls. Kerry has not even spent one tenth of the Bush machine and is still hanging in there.
The Bush team needs to pull out the big guns not only in Iraq but also on the campaign trail.
I would suggest that he hire Ann Colter as as campaign spokesperson and run adds detailing how Kerry was unfairly awarded the Purple Hearts and Silver Star.
