I try to avoid getting into a match of "comparing resumes"; (I am still kicking myself for allowing myself to do so with fellow Freeper RonlyBonlyJones - who will fight you to the death on this point ;0)

Let me just say that I have had plenty of D.C. experience, the most memorable being during the heady days ('82) of the 'Reagan Revolution'. My best friend (whom I worked for about 22 years back) worked for Reagan, Bush 41, Kemp, a GOP Governor and a GOP Senator before burning out on the beltway. Rest assured I am no neophyte.

I am also somewhat of an expert on all things relating to The Rapist. Through painful experience. VERY painful experience as a military officer asked to help implement some of The Rapist's more idiotic foreign policies.

Rule #1 when considering The Rapist: NEVER assume that ANYTHING is past him; that kind of thinking allowed him to get elected and reelected.

Rule #2: Understand and evaluate him as you would a corrupt Banana republic dictator or Mafia Don - because his modus operandi is quite similar.

Have no fear...I almost NEVER do a resume/list political bona fides on a thread and have to know someone VERY well and for a rather long period of time,here,before I divulge even a smattering of that,in private.Though suffice it to say,that I've personally known/know politicians,worked on campaigns (local,state,and national)and my knowledge is both first hand and familial.

And as far as X42 goes,I understand him,as well as his spouse.Actually,I think that I understand her better,than him.There's nothing "hidden" about her;she's as easy for me to "read",as the daily paper.

But neither of them have the "power" that they once had and that's what some here forget/ignore.
