The good news for the (single) guys is that a number of these lovable rogues are female.

A couple of the cathouses out there were doing that after 9-11, and later when Iraq heated up.
It's not impossible for a whore's heart to be in the right place, once in a while.

You know what'd be funny? One of the local "vice and virtue" police (self-appointed) going into a Soldier's or Sailor's bar and attempting to halt a "sinful" liason.
How's that pool cue taste, Dude?

LMAO! I'd pay to see that happen. Ahhh...the Ned Flanders' of FR up against real men.
To: Bella_Bru
I do know one guy who had a nose-ringed, longhaired Lefty insult and disparage him in a bar once, to show off to his girlfriend.
My buddy left the bar...with the girl, and with her recent ex on the floor, sans a couple teeth, and being used by two Marines in place of a bar rail.

No, I think it's great. Bravo to her. She is doing her part. I don't get your displeasure with this.

"Ahhh...the Ned Flanders' of FR up against real men." Let's do the math, shall we? Groups of young males in their late teens-early twenties, agressive by nature, in excellent physical condition and trained to fight. They're marinating in testosterone (and booze). They're also under a bit of stress, especially if they're shipping out soon. They're around sexily-dressed, perfumed, and willing females.
Only a true imbecile would try to get in the middle of that. I've watched that scene a hundred times, and it's uncanny how much it looks like those "Discovery Channel" animal mating season videos.

Problem is, we're no longer allowed, or I should say, "discouraged strongly", from wearing our uniforms whilst out on the town.
We have the Leftist protestors and the terrs to thank for that.
When I came home from my last deployment, I had to take a commercial flight from my base to my home in Florida. I wanted so much to arrive and greet my wife and baby in my Dress Blues. Sadly, I couldn't.

I never really liked wearing my Class-A's. I usually came home in BDU's. We hated being apart so much that I didn't hesitate to get out as soon as my 4 years was up.

More importantly, if I wasn't killed in action, I would certainly be killed by my wife. ,,, I would be too! The real danger and sacrifices may just be made in our suburbs without getting to the middle east at all [LOL].
