...while I certainly disagree with Bush et al. about this -- their campaigning for MacSpectre didn't affect MY opinion, did it? Nor did it petronski, JenB, other PA voters, did it?

So in addition to blame falling on the non-voters, the (IMHO) stupid-voters bear 100% responsibility for THEIR OWN choices. What, Bush campaigning SUCKED the knowledge of Bork, Clinton, abortion, taxes, and other areas of Spectre perfidy physically out of their heads?

Sober up, coc.

One of the "issues" I have with FR is that people here tend to believe that they represent a majority of the Repub party, which I think is completely misguided. The average republican has never heard of FR and many would deem FR to be on the right fringe. I know that may be hard for many of you to understand, but it is more truth than fiction.

The average republican does not really give two craps about Bork...it was 17 years ago. The average republican looks at the TV and sees an ad where Bush is emphatically supporting Specter and, predictably, follows their leader.
