Anyone still doubt that this is the new Crusades? The difference is that it is not the Catholic Church, but Islam that is trying to force its will upon the rest of us. As the War on Terror escalates and crosses borders to include more and more extremist Muslim cells in countries around the world. It's only a matter of time before their cells in the US are activated.

The Crusades were launched as a response to attacks by the muslims on long held Catholic territories.... It was not initiated by the Catholic Church ....

Hmm...the last time I looked the Crusades were in responce to muslim hords wiping out whole communities of Christians. They were trying to stop the advancements of genocidal islam. But who knows history is being rewritten daily as not to offend the pc crowd.

I wouldn't say it's a crusade. More like the thrashing of a cornered rat. Islam is dying. It cannot survive modernism and cannot survive in a secular world.

That will be their biggest mistake yet, even more so than 9/11. We are no longer a complacent paper tiger and if the Islamists decide to bomb our women and children in malls, buses, cafes, Muslims (so-called moderates included) will see a firestorm of wrath that the World hasn't experienced since WWII.

At that point, American political correctness will join other failed liberal policies in the dustbin of history, while a multitude of Americans will be forming "cells" to protect our families. Our fed and local govenments will attempt to quash so-called vigilatism, but won't succeed in the long run. Mark my words closely.

There's no difference. The Crusades were a counterattack launched in response to hundreds of years of Mohammedan aggression and conquest of Christian lands. (Augustine used to be the bishop of Carthage in North Africa, for example.)
