"It's only a matter of time before their cells in the US are activated."
That will be their biggest mistake yet, even more so than 9/11. We are no longer a complacent paper tiger and if the Islamists decide to bomb our women and children in malls, buses, cafes, Muslims (so-called moderates included) will see a firestorm of wrath that the World hasn't experienced since WWII.
At that point, American political correctness will join other failed liberal policies in the dustbin of history, while a multitude of Americans will be forming "cells" to protect our families. Our fed and local govenments will attempt to quash so-called vigilatism, but won't succeed in the long run. Mark my words closely.

I blame Israel and neocons.

I wouldn't say it's a crusade. More like the thrashing of a cornered rat. Islam is dying. It cannot survive modernism and cannot survive in a secular world. Will there be Reform?

Will there be Reform?I wonder how. Christians have a history of converting by the sword, but the big difference is there is no scriptural authority for doing so. Quite the opposite. Plus, Christianity, from its beginning, was powerless and separate from government.
I don't see the safety valve in Islam. It has no authority figure separating that which is Ceasar's from that which is God's.
Plus, there is the problem of women. I suspect this is the real cause of the current war. Muslim men just can't face the prospect of women having equal rights under the law.

Just goes to show you that even buddhist countries are under attack by militant islam in all its morphed forms.
But that can't be!{/sarcasm} After all, they're only attacking the US because we have troops in the Middle East, and they're only attacking Europe because they've supported the US.
Just proves the lie to the reason Islam is at war with the world.

Did you notice that the guy in the foreground in the middle picture has a knife in his hand. But perhaps he was just cutting some fruit while riding his motorcycle and was innocent.

"One might think that once a place-value number system came into existence then the 0 as a empty place indicator is a necessary idea, yet the Babylonians had a place-value number system without this feature for over 1000 years. Moreover there is absolutely no evidence that the Babylonians felt that there was any problem with the ambiguity which existed. Remarkably, original texts survive from the era of Babylonian mathematics. The Babylonians wrote on tablets of unbaked clay, using cuneiform writing. The symbols were pressed into soft clay tablets with the slanted edge of a stylus and so had a wedge-shaped appearance (and hence the name cuneiform). Many tablets from around 1700 BC survive and we can read the original texts. Of course their notation for numbers was quite different from ours (and not based on 10 but on 60) but to translate into our notation they would not distinguish between 2106 and 216 (the context would have to show which was intended). It was not until around 400 BC that the Babylonians put two wedge symbols into the place where we would put zero to indicate which was meant, 216 or 21 '' 6."

And a perfect illustration as to why it is not wise to bring a knife to a gunfight. He's a muslim militant...wise choices aren't really in his make-up.

Isn't it great how the Muslims can get along with their neighbors? They are so peaceful.

Isn't it great how the Muslims can get along with their neighbors? They are so peaceful. Are there any active conflicts that don't involve muslims as one side of the protagonists? The only possible exception that comes to mind is the Basque separatists...even Ireland has been pretty quite for many years.

Muslims have long complained of discrimination in jobs and education.
Hey Militant Muslims, I'll let Samuel L. Jackson say if for me (from "Die Hard III", IIRC):
"I DON'T LIKE YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE GONNA' GET ME KILLED!"
And to the rest of the Muslims (with the few exceptions like the sane ones
in Kurdistan, Qatar and a few other outposts):
"I don't like you because you won't lift a finger to stop your fellow nutty Muslim from
trying to kill me or innocent women and children."

Thanks for posting the eye-candy of the room-temperature thugs. Nice to see Thai Buddhists have a better grip on how to handle Muslim terrorists than
John Kerry and the Democratic Party.

At least this writer had the guts to call them "Islamic militants".
There was another article earlier on FR where the writer referred to them as "separtists". Or they are called "insurgents" by the media to make the public think there is no threat and this terrorism war is false.

The "PC" media only seem to employ objectivity in the lest appropriate occasions.
Can you imagine the outcry if Israeli soldiers shot down over 100 Palestinians armed only with knives and a few guns?

The truth is that the Hindu's in India developed the current number system of base-10 and the number 0. As with everything Arabic, the Muslims raped and pillaged the Indian civilization can called everything Indian...you guessed it, "Islamic."

Ok ok, we all know Islam is a religion of "peace". These few militants must have just had a bad childhood.
