Doesn't Specter have a better chance of beating the Dem challenger in November? If we lose Specter's seat to the Dems we are risking losing our senate majority! And don't tell me that Specter always voted with the Dems anyway, It;'s better to have a Republican voting with the Dems than a Dem voting with the Dems. There are distinct proceduaral advantages to a Repub majoirty in the Senate that go above and beyond winning this or that vote.

We already have the House, Senate and Presidency. We're still heading toward destruction. They want the USA destroyed.

I am listening to Dom Giordano on 1210 am in Philly. I am listening to calls from people that are very conflicted over the senate vote. The fear factor of losing a long time senate force enters into it. I cannot believe these people
feel the need to keep a politician for decades. Yeeeesh

You're correct. A higher turnout would be a better example of what to expect in November.

I hope Toomey's supporters are fully aware of how hard it's going to be to keep the Senate seat. They better work as hard to defeat the dem challenger as they are to upset Specter.
