Arabs stick up another Arab and get blown up in a suicide attack.
Hmmm, note to self, don't hold up any Arabs wearing bulky vests. Tends to make a mess for the cleanup crew.
Assuming these are, in fact, Arab thieves, and their motive was to steal the vest and not simply stop a suicide bomber (they're bad for business, and Arabs are capitalists at heart), then it's not poignant and sad. It's heartening and cheerful.
If they were Mosad or, like Sinbad or Aladdin (or characters like Simon Templar in our recent popular culture), "thieves with a heart of gold," then I wish them God speed.
