Don't get me wrong--I am not for the ACLU BUT when you have a town that is predominately Muslim and the ordinance regulating noise changes--where has the law been broken? As someone else on this web-site said "this is not about religion anymore--it's about territory."

AND, I find it very disturbing we Americans are allowing minorities of every kind to manipulate us in so many ways.

Just got back from the Hamtramck City Council meeting, which was packed so tightly that a cordless mic had to be passed around in place of the stationary mic that is normally used.

There was a heavy presence of people from outside the city, including a number of persons from Ohio.

Predictably, nearly all of the long-time residents, mostly second- or third-generation Americans of Polish heritage, spoke out against the resolution, while the Muslims, who greatly outnumbered Christians at the meeting, spoke in favor.

Bottom line: The gutless wonders on the City Council gave final approval.

Now a community pot needs to be established to stop this insanity through the courts.

Hook up with Bob Golen in Hamtramck.

Try and find a pro bono shark who knows how to tie his shoes, and has his head on straight about Constitutional law. I think this noise ordinance change and or exception can be beaten.

Have a bank in an adjoining city open a Hamtramck Noise Abatement Legal Fund to pay for legal filings and related office expenses for your pro bono knight.

Then send me an e-mail about the location of the bank and the account number. I'll pass it on to over five thousand of my closest friends, and ask them to do the same, and chip in a few bucks for God and country.

Let's show our boys in Iraq that we damn well know how to 'clean clocks' on the homefront!!!
