"Kerry Unfit to be Commander-in-Chief" say Kerry's Navy Colleagues!!"

"Hundreds of former commanders and military colleagues of presumptive Democratic nominee John Kerry are set to declare in a signed letter that he is "unfit to be commander-in-chief." They will do so at a press conference in Washington on Tuesday. "What is going to happen on Tuesday is an event that is really historical in dimension," John O'Neill, a Vietnam veteran who served in the Navy as a PCF (Patrol Craft Fast) boat commander, told CNSNews.com . The event, which is expected to draw about 25 of the letter-signers, is being organized by a newly formed group called Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. "We have 19 of 23 officers who served with [Kerry]. We have every commanding officer he ever had in Vietnam. They all signed a letter that says he is unfit to be commander-in-chief," O'Neill said."

Meant to post it to your thread, Mud! (Sorry for the double post!)
From Lars Larson.com :
-..."What's the best way to fight international terrorism - police enforcement action or military action? If the new State Department report entitled 'Patterns of Global Terrorism 2003' is any guide, the data speak for themselves."

The following data are from page 176 of the report and represent the information included in a bar graph available in PDF or HTML format:

TOTAL INTERNATIONAL TERRORIST ATTACKS, 1982 - 2003

1982- 487

1984- 565

1985- 635

1986- 612

1987- 665

1988- 605

1989- 375

1990- 437

1991- 565

1992- 363

1993- 431

1994- 322

1995- 440

1996- 296

1997- 304

-"Clearly, the war on terrorism is working. Since taking the fight directly to the terrorist where them train and operate, their ability to engage in terrorism has been genuinely crippled, with the number of international terrorist incidents at historic lows since the Bush administration began its systematic effort to root out terrorism worldwide."
