The college president has said he's disappointed that Cheney used the college to bash Kerry and has invited Kerry to the college to respond.

Here is the transcript from the Vice-President's excellent speech in Fulton, Missouri today. Wouldn't want this to get lost in the Kerry melt-down news!

It's been a BAAAD day for JFK.....The GOP is beating on him like a pinata, and the only two public figures to support him are DNC chair Terry MCAwful and DC Delegate Elinor Norton...

The cynical side of me says that part of this McAwful/Kerry vicitmization about the Republican attack machine "going after Kerry's medals" this morning was about pre-empting the Vice-President's foreign policy speech in Fulton.

I see academia is onboard with "the message".

I got to hear quite a bit of this on Fox today. I didn't comment on the thread about it because my daughter had stopped by.

It was a great speech. I just love hearing Cheney speak. He rolled out those hits on Kerry like heavy cannon fire! HA!

Good catch Peach.

Here's a quote from your link:

"Lamkin [the college president], who described himself to the AP as a split-ticket voter [uh huh, yeah, right], said, "We would be naive not to think there would be some politics in an address during an election year, so no, we were not duped." [Then, what's the problem?, oh, that's right, he's a split ticket voter (read: democrat)] But he added: "The second half of the speech was all about politics and a political stump speech and in that respect it was disappointing." [Okay, let me get this straight, he wasn't duped, he expected politics in an election year in a speech by the Vice President, but he was disappointed because there was politics in the speech. Oh, NOW I get it!]

He's sent word to Kerry that he is welcome to come speak at the college, in the interests of fairness. What a guy, what a man, what a democrat!

Well, I wonder if this college president has heard Kerry bashing universities and colleges for how high their tution is? He is saying it in every speech. In fact, today he said that over 200K Americans who wanted to go to college, couldn't afford it. Now WHO is reponsible for that?

But I find it odd that Senator Kerry is now commending an alliance he didn't want to build for a purpose he didn't support.

He was against it before he was for it, that's all. Very Kerry!

The great material in bold should be duplicated and sent to everyone you know on the net, including RATs. Maybe then they'll get the message that Kerry is a traitor.

Less than two weeks ago, within hours of Osama bin Laden issuing a tape promising further attacks on America, Senator Kerry suggested that the President is exaggerating the terrorist threat. As the Senator put it, "Home base for George Bush, as we saw to the 'nth' degree in the press conference, is terror. Ask him a question, he's going to terror."

Whereas the Kerry position is that the terror threat is exaggerated and ... Bush didn't do enough to prevent 9-11.

I am aware of no other instance in which a presumptive nominee for President of the United States has spoken with such disdain of active, fighting allies of the United States in a time of war. Senator Kerry's contempt for our good allies is ungrateful to nations that have withstood danger, hardship, and insult for standing with America in the cause of freedom.

I can see where the college president is "disappointed" that the Vice President would point this out. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Kerry should be an embarrassment to anyone with a brain, much less a conscience.
