Yeah, I lived in MA for a while. I knew this guy who showed me how to 'parallel-park by ear', which consisted of alternately bashing the car in front of a small space and the car behind until you made enough space to park your own car. He was recovering from a recent accident when I met him and later rolled his VW over on the snowbank beside an upstate NY freeway when he fell asleep. He was a German living in MA, and that's one hell of a driving combination.

Parking a VW by ear, eh. Did he actually move the vehicles at either end of the parking space when he hit them or did he simply shorten his VW?
