Kerry melt-down following Gibson GMA interview

Peter Jennings just ran a piece on Kerry's Vietnam history. Included in the piece was a bit of video after this morning's interview with Charlie Gibson. Kerry (thinking he was off-camera) ripped out his earpiece, and said "I feel like they're doing the work of the Republican National Committee."

I heard Rush talking about this today. He predicted that Petah would go after Kerry on the medals thing because Kerry lied to him during an interview in December. Charlie Gibbs was just the opening act; Jennings was the headliner. According to Rush, Petah won't let this go because Kerry made him look like a fool.

Kerry's toast and he toasted himself. More and more the summer is shaping up to be one of the most interesting that we have seen in decades.

This is priceless. I didn't have a chance to watch GMA before we freeped Kerry today. The "attack" by ABC while he was in Marshall County, followed by pesky Republican protesters in Ohio County (and there's no way he didn't see and hear us) really must have ruined his day. That's a shame.

This raises an interesting question. What would happen if Kerry fell 15 points behind Bush in the polls by July?

All that stuff about "I threw away ribbons, not medals" makes him sound flaky, even to average Joe. He gets that Clintonesque parsing his words thing going on and it sounds real bad.

The guy's charisma-free and it shows. Massachusetts will vote for the likes of Kerry and Teddy the Toad but that doesn't mean the rest of the country will.
