Here's an interesting little tidbit. The first mosque in the United States was built in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, shortly after the turn of the century. Also in Cedar Rapids is the first exclusively Muslim burial ground in the U.S.

Who would have thought that little ole Cedar Rapids would have had that many muslims so early.
