I can see your point, but in my life time we have never answered point for point and Protest for Protest. These people have a very small number of people on their side, but they have a lot of money and are well organized.

The hard hat riots were an anomily but they did express the frustation of the 60+% that supported the war in Viet Nam. Remember that the Russian Rovolution was a minority within a minority.

I'm with you, U.S. Those who applaud lawlessness and thuggery are a disgrace. There is simply no excuse. When union thugs beat up some anti-Clinton protesters in Philly some years back this site was wall-to-wall outrage for months! Talking about free speech and stupid, lazy union bums, etc. To cheer the same when it is supposedly for "our" cause (and the "cause" here is what, exactly?) is rank hypocrisy. Inexcusable!
