So the tape was in the Nixon archives. That didn't occur to me.

Ok here is a question.. Who was the young female staff lawyer for the Democratic side of the Watergate Commission whose job it was to search the Nixon administration records for informatoin that could be used against Nixon should his impeachment come to a trial in the Senate?

Can you say a young Miss Hillary Rodham? Thought so!

The Nixon tape records are huge. He had every network news cast and public affairs show on tape from the day he took office. He aparently even had local DC stations taped for reference. There were nearly 7 years worth of shows and mountains of paper transcripts in his archives. Someone had to know this tape existed, and what was in it... or at least strongly suspect it was there. That almost had to be Hillary or someone who did a lot of investigating on the Watergate case.

Some one tipped off the N.Y. Times. I doubt seriously if someone took a few months to peruse the Nixon archives on the chance they would find somethning.
