This is hard to know. Pre-ban clips usually have no ID markings. To my understanding, unless you have paper proving date of ownership, you may be in violation according to the strictest interpretation of the law.

Yea, but magazines made past 1994 that were high cap must have LEO use only or some similar marking on it. Possession of those by noncops is a crime as far as I know. It'd be akin to owning a postban assault weapon (2 evil features and a detachable mag- same case, Lords and Nobles use only). A preban mag has no markings on it but it will sell for 10x the amount generally.
