To paraphase George Orwell
We sleep safe in our beds tonight because rough men with guns in distant places stand ready to do violence on our part.
God bless all those who go into harms way for us.

Thank God for our most dangerous weapon-"a U.S. Marine with a rifle!" These young men are true heroes-the only thing the enemy understands is decisive brutality! One shot one kill, why not a lot of shots a lot of kills? Maybe our Marine Snipers can use M-249s at close range.

This is why I believe the kills in Falluja are a lot higher than has been reported. It will be interesting to see what happens when our guys start the patrols in Falluja. Parley

Today, tonight, tomorrow, there are small battles going
on world wide with our special forces. You will never
hear about them, nor will they be published. A good
example is the death of Pat Tillman. That firefight
would never have been heard of, had Pat not perished.
Yes, God Bless all of our Troops. They are now fighting
in far off places, so we may sleep in safety.
They are more then "Special Forces. They are special people.

"In negotiations aimed at ending the standoff in the city, the insurgents have demanded the Marines pull back their snipers."
Meaning: It is working.
"Although official policy discourages Marines from keeping a personal count"
Right, stupid thought. Cops keep count of the tickets they give out, the tech support at your ISP has to have X number of calls per hour, football teams keep score, etc, etc. Life is all about competition no matter what the liberals would like to think.
"The snipers clear the streets for us," said Capt. Douglas Zembiec. "The snipers are true heroes."
Enough said.

The sniper rifle, a M-40A3, is a bolt-action model specially assembled at the Marine Corps armory in Quantico, Va. The scope magnifies to the 10th power.

I had been predicted on my for some time this exact scenario.
That when the terrorists finally go head to head with our military they would get creamed by our far superior forces.
The terrorists have always fought from the shadows.
But now being faced with a real military they are simply no match.
This is almost like a training ground for our troops.

Amen! Increase the Marine sniper teams, they are working and they are deadly! No negotiations and no quarter! Insurgents with a gun, kill them! No time for diplomacy,
it's time to let our Marines do their jobs! Let the Marine Officers and NCOs call the shots (along with the snipers!) not the inept politicians! It's time to kill the bad guys.
