Being sceptical, I'd want a paper receipt, confirming through a unique randomly-generated ID how I voted, and then see a publicly disclosed list of unique numbers and the votes associated with it. That way I could instantly check there that my vote was recorded correctly, and then check it again when it's published that it stayed that way.

I really don't trust the other side. Hundreds of millions are spent electing a President - the whole world's a stakeholder.

I wouldn't trust the public disclosure list either. It is not the system; it is the people operating the system.

If you want vote integrity; get involved in the process (besides just voting). Otherwise, if there is a "Joseph Stalin" counting the ballots, it doesn't matter how you voted or what system you used.
