FACT: John Kerry is proud of the work he did to end the Vietnam war. The Nixon Administration made John Kerry one of its targets and Kerry's rightwing opponents have been smearing him ever since. John Kerry threw his ribbons and the medals of two veterans who could not attend the event, and said “I am not doing this for any violent reasons, but for peace and justice, and to try to make this country wake up once and for all.” [Tour of Duty, Douglas Brinkley]

RIGHTWING FICTION

I just checked the Bush-Cheney website and while I see ads and statements about Kerry there, NOWHERE do I see the President "attacking" the left. Nowhere does he in effect, alienate a part of the country. He remains targeted on Kerry, but NOT on Americans of the left (oxymoron as that may be).

Can it really be that the right is actually the party more prone to inclusion and that doesn't relish tearing down other citizens of the nation even if we disagree politically? Naaaa. (/sarc)
