If Kerry continues to lose ground, will he be dumped at the convention? I've seen the beginning of calls for this on DU...but I don't think the left is smart enough to dump a loser before they're committed.

Useful Fools website or blog has a doucments that fills in the gap, it states "3 Jan 1970 Released from Active Duty, transferred to Naval Reserve (inactive)" next entry is: "1 July 1972 Transferred to the standby Reserve (inactive)"

It seems awfully hypocrital to throw away someone elses medals in some pretence of all-out conviction. It's all about appearances. This guy doesn't deserve to lead guys like Pat Tillman.

hah good point. And we all saw him throwing and (trying) to catch a football, so if he did infact throw those medals, we must conclude they went only a foot or two. A Mr. Burns type of throw.

Theory B is that the Clintons are behind it and want Kerry to lose so thoroughly and completely that Hillary is seen as the only possible saviour of the party.
That theory is growing on me.
Which makes it even more important IMHO to get Condi Rice into the VP slot. I don't want Cheney to die and I really like the guy, but it would be nice if he a relapse that caused his docs to tell him to give it up.

So John Kerry's credibility is falling faster than Bill Clinton's drawers at a NOW meeting. It's common knowledge that the Clintons control the media, so they are the likely suspects in this ABC attack. Kerry and that money he married want him in the White House, so much so that it looks like a Hillary VP pick is the only way to bale him out of this mess. Oh I know she said she wouldn't run as his VP, but to save the party....
