The Anti-Terrorist Coalition (http://atcoalition.showsit.info) announced today the creation of the Database of Terrorist Websites and eGroups (http://atcterrorlist.showsit.info). The database lists 352 terrorist websites and eGroups deemed by the coalition to have ties to terrorism, or to promote terrorism.

Benyamin B., head of Anti-Terrorism Coalition Intelligence, said that the websites and eGroups were found, investigated, and listed in this database by the ATC. The database lists nearly all terrorist Yahoo Groups, "we believe that we have found most terrorist Yahoo Groups and also lists many terrorist websites," Benyamin said, "The main purpose of this list is to expose terrorism on the internet and to make the public aware of a problem that has been ignored far too long."

Mr. B said that the database will continue to grow as additional terror-related sites are discovered and added.
