We have a few ping lists for some of this stuff as well.
There's the Stryker ping list, and the treadhead ping list, and then there the Field Artillery/Mortars ping list.
(The FAMPL list isn't picky, we'll take anyone, but we prefer to let people choose whether or not they get tossed onto that list.)
If you wish to be on any of the above mentioned lists, the contact people are together in thread at the moment.
I myself am the 'keeper of the FAMPL list', so that'd make me the contact guy for that one.
The other two lists, Cannoneer and archy, I believe, are the ones to contact about the Stryker and the treadhead lists respectively.

The BP is upgrading their fleet, get a hose out of the convoy for refuel to extend the legs, why not. Rockets guns would be an asset as well as the scouting possibilities. Couple of hours FAM in a Loach should do it, get the rest OJT.

Will do.
I have you on teh FAMPL list.
It deals primarily with artillery, but sometimes we wander off into other subjects when other things cross over.
Keywords are FAPL and FAMPL.
And, done.
List is amended.

I was thinking more of a subdued grey background. Kinda like a subdued Gadsen flag, black rattlesnake on a ghost grey background. I don't expect quite all the personnel to be American in origin. And unit crests and regimentals from all sorts of previous units would be expected from those such American and otherwise.
But a *subdued* Gadsen flag?
Not hardly. On khakis, I expect:

There's a former 4/64 armor tanker involved in this little project. Considerable experience at keeping vehicles running under such conditions, but I doubt we can shag him into being a maintenance officer. He wants to run over people and shoot things, not necessarily in that order.

"run over people and shoot things, not necessarily in that order."
Sounds like a plan!
Maybe he can train up others on the maint portion, have him hand pick the maint crews out of those he trains?

Yes, you are on the FAMPL.
I think you were one of the first added to the list right off the bat when it was thought up.
Not sure who's on the Stryker and Treadhead lists, I don't have a copy of them yet.
Here's the FAMPL as it currently sits:

Now you're talking, send in the Scouts...Crew of three, pilot, observer and a crew chief/gunner in the back with a crate full of frags and a bungee mounted GMP, with a pilot controlled, MK-19 on the left side.
Give give them one half mile either side of the line of travel as a free fire zone and the ability to call in a high bird and your convoy survivability goes up.
Observation and retaliation all in one...

I swear that looks like the old White Half Track from WW-2 The previous 4x4 Soviet BTR-40 was even more similar to the WWII Lend-Lease supplied White M3 Scout Cars combined with the automotive chassis of the GAZ-63 truck chassis. But as noted above, should it become necessary to go off-road, a 6x6 is a much better proposition.
