Incoherent, but funny.
I hope I'm not a liberal when I say that domestic beer, with the exception of Sam Adams, is more like bottled urine than something a man can drink.
To: Batrachian
Sam's a good one, and there are plenty of domestic microbrews for the beer drinker with a discriminating palate.

Play a sport, sweat your beains out than drink a Heineken. Does not compare to an ice cold Bud in a can.
On the other hand, eating a 28 oz porterhouse there is nothing better than a heineken. Or a california cabernet but that is for a different conversation.

I agree, except for the occassional micro-brew...and "bottled urine" is giving it a better analogy than it is worth...

No absolutely not.
It means that you Sir,
ARE a Beer Drinker :-)
With the exception of Sam Adams and MGD Draft, I get headaches from the swill foisted on the public as american beer. (It's the chemicals added)
Now Beck's, St. Pauli Girl or DAB - that's what beer is supposed to taste like. And German Brewery's are still obliged to follow the German Beer Purity Law of 1516.
BTW, your 'urine' comment is on the mark. Years ago, when my wife's uncles from Germany first came to visit and tried american beer, they said exactly that, "urine".
