I didn't hear it from Fox, but I did hear a local radio talk-show announcer report that Fox was saying this about Gorelick testifying.

She figures if she gets in front and dodges the whiffle balls they will throw her then that will be enough to allow her to seem legitimate enough to remain on the circus and finish her primary objective, which is the protect Bill & the Beestie.
