Well, now I don't, but when I was reading your post, it kind of had that conspiracy-theory orientation about it. :)
Bill Kristol--"Hegemony Cricket"--
I could start linking, but you can search and find a pile of stuff on your own. Read Kristol's New American Century-- It didn't take but a few hours reading to put me off neocons forever. I never could understand why we were messing around in the Balkans in the nineties--and that's because we didn't have a sensible reason for doing so.
As for the paleos--they're as unsatisfactory in their bluster as the neos are chickenhawks. Why not lose them BOTH?
We need a post-neo punditry--I'd like someone bright and young, like Coulter speaking for me, not smarmy smirky, sly characters like Kristol or tired old snarly relics like Novak.
We are the "consumers," after all--what do we OWE the Buchanans, the Kristols, the Krauthammers anyway? We buy their books, put their faces on TV.
We could ask for a better show.
