Enlisted men called it 'the clap'. So did the corpsmen when they were dealing with us enlisted men. Officers always got urinary tract infections, never the clap.

Now, now, JFKII did not have VD. It would have been impossible for him to contract such a disease. Everyone knows that VD is a disease of the privates and he was an officer.
But one must remember that the rank of jg is the equivalent of a SP4 in the Army, so maybe he did have a dose.
