I was just thinking the same thing.

Would The Pat Tillman Story be the first ever sports/war movie? I'm racking my brain to try and think of others.

HBO Sports had better stand down at the moment and near future. It's the time for me to think of Pat Tillman in terms of his sacrifice, and not what it fills HBO proramming with.

I want to say there was one about Ted Williams.

According to interviews with fellow pilots, Williams' incredible eyesight and reflexes carried over into flying - they considered him to be one of the best pilots they ever flew with, he could see enemy fighters before anybody else could.
