So, Katie has been "working her butt off" for rectal cancer. I guess she found the obvious cure.
To: Pharmboy
I know katie's cause is colons but she always makes me think of a rectum.

LOL. Your sad attempt at baiting me with ad hominems is so cliche it's almost funny. Pitiful that you're on the front lines of conservatism. Or think you are.
Today show hosts don't rank as news people in my book, so I thought the question was fair. What Katie calls herself in this regard is entirely unknown to me.
And BTW, look back at my original post, in which I make the statement that "I assume I'm misunderstanding" the original posters comments. It's called asking for clarification. It may have been too subtle for you, though, which does not speak volumes for where you got your education.

You've never seen the movie "Network," then...

The "Today" show is under the NBC News organization. You may not consider her a news person but NBC classifies her as such.

I think this answers your question, CT - "Have you always been clueless or did you attend a public school?"
You have to have special training to be able to avoid the wealth of information available with a click on Al Gore's Internet. It's got to be publik skool. ;-)

Not to mention her cellulite thighs are pretty nauseas in the morning. Hey Katie, keep your skirt down! Since I never watch the show, I will need pictues posted to prove that you are not making false accusations.

I was going to respond to your post, but adding anything to what has already been said is probably overkill. But since you asked, with newspeople, those who are supposed to have objectivity and unbiased reporting as the underlying basis for their profession, I expect to get the facts as they exist so that I can make up my own mind, rather than their opinions disguised as facts or facts omitted to slant the story.
Rush is not a journalist, but rather an entertainer, a political conservative who proudly announces that fact and lets the listener decide, despite his bravado about thinking for us. Clearly, that is a slam at the media who does want us to have the opinions they so carefully craft for us.

"This comment puzzles me, so I assume I'm misunderstanding. Rush Limbaugh is blatant about his political agenda. Is he untrustworthy as well?"
Apples and Oranges. Rush has his own show which he created and is based on his being a conservative. Katie is on a National "News" program that pretends to report the news fairly. In other words Katie is supposed to be a responsible journalist, Rush is a political OP/ED commentator and entertainer. Can't you figure out the difference? I would prefer to hear the news and make my own decisions. I don't need someone to tell me what I should think and feel and disguise it as news.
