The performance was in the Ross Auditorium - I ran the sound board. This was the first time I've been there. What a grand old theater. Just beautiful. The Navy admins there running the place were absolutely wonderful to work with - not to mention grateful for our efforts. One of the guys on the lighting crew was clearly a vet - two big honking "seabee" tattoos on his forearms. He was so kind and nice. Just couldn't say enough things about how meaningful tonight's effort was for all who attended.

My husband's chorus donates upwards of 200 tickets of any shows they produce during their two main show weekends every year to be distributed through the USO to anyone currently serving on the base. (Check out the picture on that link - that was taken at a local performance right after 9/11 to help our area community in its time of mourning. My husband is the good-looking guy down in front. ;-)

I forgot to mention........ there were 2 busloads of vets brought over from the nearby VA hospital facility to enjoy tonight's concert as well. We were thrilled to have them in attendance and hope that tonight's music brought them joy.
