I was at the health club today, trying to get a little exercise. They had that blowhard giving his Earth Day speech on CNN. I screamed back at the television. Most of my fellow exercise fanatics thought I saw nuts. I just couldn't take it when that pompous a$$hole talked about relying less on foreign oil, when it has been the enviro-whackos on the left who have stopped virtually all new drilling (particularly in Alaska) because it could allegedly harm the environment. What hypocrites!

Really! Who in the hell is ever going to see these areas where we can't drill? Off shore drilling. Do these people boat out that far that their view of the horizon which shows nothing but water, water everywhere is spoiled? Do they go to the remote areas of Alaska where they want to drill? Sorry but this is the reality. I'll guarantee you that most of the tree huggers that scream the most wouldn't go camping or even spend a day out in "nature" anyway.
I grew up in the country. I love the wide open spaces. I have had to get in step with the fact that my wide open spaces have become congested with housing developments, Walmarts, Strip Malls etc. What's the difference? The wide open spaces aren't there anymore. Everything changes with time. They need to get over it.
