I was shocked when I read the label.

Very yummy pie though...

When you get close to your weight goal you can have more carbs. The trick is to find the threshold of where you start to gain and then back off a little.

Actually, with diabetes the trick is to standback from carbs ~ period!

Folks using insulin do, of course, consume carbs. Folks who are using diet control stick to the menu available in the paleolithic. It's pretty much what you'd find to eat out on the trail following the herds ~ meat, green fruit, seeds, nuts ~ greens. You get used to it.

I'm convinced this is a normal condition.
