Time For a RINO Hunting Safari: Bag A Specter
Toomey: US Senate ^
Posted on 04/22/2004 7:17:43 AM PDT by LibertyJihad
ILL go straight to the point, said Arlen Specter, shortly after sitting down to dinner with Paul Weyrich of the Free Congress Foundation in March. Ive got a primary and Im being hit from the right. I want your support.
The Republican senator from Pennsylvania wasnt going to get it merely by breaking bread. Says Weyrich: I told him I was disgusted with how he comes around just before his elections and asks for conservative endorsements, when we all know he wont give us the time of day later on.

An awesome report Joanie! Everything I hear says that you are right that "momentum is on your side." If Toomey pulls this out, it will be a win for grass roots politics and you are right about Schumer, Clinton, Leahy and their pals. They will be quaking in their boots - all the more reason we want a win next Tuesday!
Thank you and keep knocking on those doors!
Go Toomey!

And PLEASE have poll-watchers at all the primary polls on Tuesday. Snarlin' Arlen has appealed to all his Democrat friends to vote for him and we all know what that means!

Santorum has proven himself to be a political whore like the rest of the professional politicians.

The country's watching you all!
If Toomey wins, Tuesday will be one glorious day for America. Four more days and then you can rest Joanie. Keep on keepin' on!

People forget that Santorum also endorsed Specter for President in 1996!

Is there a prediction on what percent of the registered PA Republicans will even bother to vote in the April 27 primary? Would a higher turnout help Specter? I guess it would depend on where the higher turnout was. Won't he just sweept the whole Philadelphia area? People in Philadelphia have been voting for Specter on an off for 40 years now.

great post. I'm from Alabama and just spent over an hour calling PA Republicans asking them to vote for Toomey. Keep up the great work, we need Toomey in there!

Dear J-f,
Prayer up and on the way.
Oh Lord, we beseech thee,
protect J-f and Pennsylvania
in the coming political onslaught.
Oh Lord we pray, protect that state
and our nation from further democrat "victories".
Amen.
