You made a good point.I found rarely was my being a very obvious American a detriment anywhere in Europe, even France .Exceptions were Paris(of course) and the non English speaking screener at ATL.

That´s great to hear! When it comes to an attack of our homelands, Europeans and Americans should stand together. That´s what NATO intends. Even though this organisation counts 26 members, it´s still not old-fashioned.
